Kangaroo Lake is home to Brown Brothers Vineyards along with plantings of stone fruit and table grapes. Brown Brothers have approximately 500ha of winegrapes planted in the Kerang Lakes area, producing varieties such as Crouchen, Cienna, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
The nearby Avoca Marshes provide an amazing array of wildlife and birdlife and are popular with bird enthusiasts and environmentalists.
